Though my tonsils were severely swollen in these particular recordings, I had the pleasure of playing Deb as my last amateur stage production before focusing on film. This is the most grounded, relatable role in a musical I've ever gotten to play.

I was around 15 when I landed this role in Charlie Brown in which I took it upon myself to use my first "character voice" and took all inspiration from Kirsten Chenowith's version. These are just a couple clips from a tech rehearsal.
